Living a great life full of passion and adventure seems to be the trend. Despite the fact that we're living in an era when we no longer can deny our self destructive behavior, but yet our ignorance wins more often than our awareness. The world is developing so quickly that it paralyzes our ability to comprehend with the complexity of our modern society. It confuses me and made me long for simple things in life. Like showing my girlfriend my region of origin, because I try to find the things that are familiar.

During my study at the Royal academy of arts (KABK), The Hague, I was searching for a way to canalize my thoughts and feelings by finding my own style. What do I want to say? What kind of photographer am I? These photos show my journey.

During my travels I met a lot of beautiful people and saw many beautiful places. This is a selection of a few places i've been.

Often I dream that I float true the air. It gives me a sense of complete freedom by separating myself from all earths expectations. The mind has no limits. When we are awake we get constantly reminded of what's right or wrong and we can't avoid behaving like we do in order to fit in to society. Sometimes I distance myself in order to feel absolute freedom. These dreams of levitation are a metaphor of freedom versus judgement.
